Vampires - Information and History

Vampires are creatures of the night. They take sustenance from other living things, be it via blood or psychic energy. In the war they sided with the demons after the legendary yet unnamed couple from so long ago, and the alliance stands strong.



Vampires that are in a group are called a clan and organized in military style.

History
Vampires are creatures of history; they have been around since time began. Often secluded, most vampires kept to themselves or in groups of other vampires. This was for safety; humans would destroy that which they feared. It was the early vampires that started the rumors of their kind sleeping in coffins and graves, and set humans on chases for corpses so the true vampires could roam free. No one looked in homes and farms for the undead.

There were very few alliances with other creatures, only personal ones here or there, until the Lady Rosana fell for a demon man hundreds of years before our story takes place. The vampires work well with the demons; both are ancient, prideful tribes with power and seduction in even the gentlest of touches.

The current Vampire General has been in his position for only 20 years - a mere flash in the span to those who live such long lives. In his short time as leader, he has proved himself compassionate and fair to those who have earned his trust, and vicious with those who have not.
